Zaječarsko beer donated 4,266,000 dinars, which in cooperation with the Olympic Committee and with the great help of the citizens of Serbia, gathered in the “From Rio to Zaječar whole country cheering.” The funds were provided by allocating 1 dinar from each sold cans of limited-edition beer Zaječar, and are intended for development teams whose athletes showed the best results.

The funds are allocated to the most promising sports clubs that have met the criteria, among which are: taekwondo club “Galeb” from Belgrade, athletic club “Vojvodina” from Novi Sad and wrestling club “Spartak” from Subotica.

The event, which was organized on this occasion was attended by our athletes and Olympic medal winners of taekwondo Milica Mandić and Tijana Bogdanović and wrestler Davor Stefanek.

“We are proud of the results our athletes and that is why we want to raise awareness about the importance of the development of Serbian sport and to our future champions provide better conditions for training. In that endeavour helped us citizens of Serbia, our loyal customers, who have joined the campaign. We thank everyone who helped to gather together almost 4.3 million and thus support our most promising athletes. This action and donations are the crowns of excellent cooperation with the Olympic Committee of Serbia, which will continue in mutual satisfaction, said Dragana Savić, Marketing Director of Heineken Serbia.

The Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, Djordje Višački thanked Zaječar beer on successfully conducted the action, and then the citizens through their participation in it, to provide support to our athletes and support the promotion of the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit in Serbia.

“Zaječarsko beer for 8 years supporting the Olympic Committee and the Olympic team of Serbia, and I can say that in this period, our two houses exceeded the partnership, and to express my great satisfaction that our cooperation will continue in the next Olympic cycle,” said Višački.

Continuing long-standing cooperation with the Olympic Committee of Serbia Zaječarsko beer will support our Olympians and Tokyo, 2020.
