Mobi Banka, soon to be Yettel Bank, has unveiled a new brand and mobile application, marking a pivotal shift in Serbia’s banking sector. Supported by a €33 million investment from PPF Group, this rebranding is part of a broader five-year plan aimed at revolutionizing digital banking.
Aleksandar Bogdanović, the bank’s executive board chairman, highlighted this evolution as a celebration of the bank’s decade-long existence, emphasizing the potential in synergizing banking with telecommunications.
The rollout of the Yettel Bank app will occur in stages starting in early June, allowing customers to gradually adapt to new features while maintaining access to the existing application. Initial enhancements will include state-of-the-art biometric login capabilities and user-oriented functionalities like customizable interface modes and a streamlined view of active products.
By the end of the year, Yettel Bank aims to complete its transformation, focusing on providing a comprehensive and intuitive digital banking experience. This move aligns with the bank’s strategic growth and digital-first approach, already embraced by nearly 800,000 clients, setting a new standard in the integration of financial services with technology.
