Banca Intesa, in cooperation with PBZ bank in Croatia and VUB bank in Slovakia, as a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has signed a binding offer with company GTC S.A. in the amount of €64 million for the financing of the construction of the Ada shopping centre in Belgrade, which is GTC’s first investment in Serbia’s retail sector.

The Ada shopping centre will cover a total area of 34,400 square metres of modern retail space designed and constructed in accordance with the highest international standards.

“We are very pleased that, as the major financial partner of this project, in cooperation with other members of our parent group Intesa Sanpaolo, we are supporting the implementation of another significant foreign investment in Serbia that will help to create jobs, in addition to offering our citizens additional content. We believe that in this way we will also provide a contribution to the further recovery of the domestic construction industry, given that investments of this scope always have broader significance through the engaging of a large number of local companies,” said Banca Intesa CEO Draginja ?uri?.

The Ada Shopping Centre, located in ?ukarica opposite the Ada Ciganlija urban resort, will – in addition to a modern design and attractive offers of more than 100 retail outlets and brands – offer a fun and relaxation zones, such as a panoramic roof garden overlooking the lake.
