The Hellenic Business Association of Serbia (HBA) organised an event in honour of the traditional cake Vasilopita cutting at Belgrade’s Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The event was attended by HBA members and friends, as well as members of the wider Greek business community in Serbia and representatives of the Greek Embassy in Belgrade.

HBA President Georgios Papanastasiou underlined that, despite the challenges Greece has been facing in the last few years, the Greek business community in Serbia remains as strong as ever. He added that Greek companies still hold leading positions in key segments in Serbia, such as banking & financial services, hospitality, construction, retail etc.

H.E. Greek Ambassador to Serbia Constantinos Economides also addressed guests, noting that cooperation between the HBA and the Embassy is exceptionally successful while emphasising the HBA’s support for initiatives and events organised by the Greek Embassy in Belgrade.
