Marko Martinović Appointed as New Director of Serbia’s Leading Frozen Food Company, Frikom

Marko Martinović has been appointed as the new director of Frikom, a leading company in the frozen food industry in Serbia. Martinović joins Frikom from his previous role as the Regional Sales Director at PepsiCo – Western Balkans. Throughout his career, he has held various executive positions, primarily focusing on sales teams.

“Frikom is synonymous with innovation, and its strong market presence in Serbia is a testament to the dedication of the team and the fantastic products the company offers. Personally, this role represents a significant professional challenge for me, as I am joining a company that is not only a market leader but also a benchmark in the categories it produces. Through teamwork, efficient communication, and collaboration with our partners, I believe we will continue the trend of good results and further strengthen Frikom’s leadership position in the frozen food industry,” stated Marko Martinović.

Martinović, who is professionally trained as an economist, has held several managerial positions in international companies, including Procter & Gamble and Nelt Group, working in markets both in Serbia and the Adriatic region.

In 2023, he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham), working alongside the AmCham community to improve the business environment in Serbia.

Frikom, with over 1300 employees, is the foremost manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products in Serbia. The company is renowned for the quality of its products, innovative range, and commitment to consumer satisfaction. With a broad portfolio that includes ice cream, frozen vegetables, fruits, fish, and pastry, Frikom has a strong market influence and is dedicated to enhancing consumer experience through high standards of quality. Since 2021, Frikom has been a part of the Adriatic cluster of the British company Nomad Foods, Europe’s largest frozen food company.
