Serbian athlete Adriana Vilagoš clinched the gold medal in the javelin throw final at the European Championship for Under-20 juniors, held in Jerusalem. 

In the fourth round, she achieved a throw of 58.38 meters, securing the top spot and a significant triumph for Serbian athletics.

Prior to this, Angelina Topić became the European champion by being the sole athlete to clear a height of 1.90 meters in the high jump, accomplishing this without any knockdowns.

Teodora Boberić secured the silver medal in the triple jump, while in the same event, Aleksandrija Mitrović clinched the bronze.
