In a striking demonstration of unity from Tirana, Southeast European leaders, together with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenski, have collectively declared their support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

This declaration, affirming Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders since 1991, calls for increased global support against the backdrop of rising geopolitical tensions. It not only condemns Russia’s illegal election activities in occupied Ukrainian territories but also highlights the critical need for a united Europe ready to tackle global challenges.

The declaration also embraces President Zelenski’s Peace Formula and the initiative for peace summit participation, aiming to integrate the Western Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia into the European Union. It underscores a commitment to Ukraine’s security autonomy and aspirations for NATO membership, reflecting a strategic vision for a secure, unified Europe.

Additionally, it stresses accountability for crimes committed during the conflict and promotes concerted efforts towards Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, including counter-disinformation and demining activities.
