The integrated Piraeus Bank campaign “Ready for Your Victory” won a prestigious SPORTO Award for the best sponsorship project from Serbia in the field of sports in Portorož, on November 16th. The SPORTO expert jury, made up of top European marketing professionals, recognized the Piraeus Bank campaign as an excellent example of sponsorship in sport and creative expression.

For 12 years in a row, the SPORTO prize is awarded to the best marketing projects in the field of sports from all the republics of the former Yugoslavia, and for the first time, this year projects from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary are included in the competition for the award.

While being shortlisted for the best regional campaign and winning the best sports sponsorship project from Serbia, Piraeus Bank was also nominated for the European Sponsorship Association in the category “Best of Europe” (2017 ESA Best of Europe Award).

This nomination is another acknowledgement that the Bank has made an excellent synergy of the brand, sport and sporting values.

The cooperation between Piraeus Bank and the Basketball Association of Serbia will contribute to the further progress of basketball in Serbia, which is one of the reasons that this cooperation will continue in the next year as well.
