World’s top tennis player Novak Djokovic has clinched his seventh title at the Paris Masters, held indoors at Bercy, after defeating Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov in a commanding straight-sets final, 6-4, 6-3.
For the 36-year-old Serbian, this marks his 40th Masters 1000 series title, bringing his career tally to an impressive 97 tournament victories.
Alongside the prestigious title, Djokovic has pocketed a handsome €892,590—the prize money awarded to the winner.
Djokovic is also set to celebrate an extraordinary 400 weeks at the summit of the ATP rankings.
This sixth trophy of the year widens his lead over second-placed Carlos Alcaraz in the year-end number one race, with the 24-time Grand Slam champion heading into the ATP Finals poised to cap off the season with yet another triumph.
