“There are many issues on which the United States and Serbia should work together, both being in foreign policy and in the areas of energy in which they have a lot of common interests,” said U.S. Ambassador H.E. Christopher Hill, adding that he is glad about the forming of the new Government of Serbia.

“I am happy that Serbia has a new minister of foreign affairs because there are many topics that we need to discuss. I am also looking forward to the energy meetings, because the U.S. and Serbia have a lot of common interests,” said ambassador Hill.

Ambassador Hill also mentioned that relations between Serbia and the U.S. were not always positive, but nevertheless both countries fought on the same side in two world wars and that strength can be drawn from those alliances to rebuild good relations.
