The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Serbia organised the second-largest competition of start-up companies in the country, called “Ring Serbia”, held on the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“VisMedic” – an online clinic that enables patients to consult with their doctors via online video chats and messaging – has won the title of the best start-up company in the country.

Participants in this year’s competition prepared with the expert assistance of the USAID Sustainable Local Development Project, which is supported by the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sport, the City of Belgrade and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Prizes for contestants were provided by Microsoft, ITC Hub and Link Group.

“VisMedic” owner Goran Ocokoljić will represent Serbia at the regional contest “Get in the Ring”, to be held in Sofia, and victory will see the doors opened to him for the world championships in start-up companies, to be held in South America.
