The Embassy of Sweden and the Center for Cultural Decontamination hosted the opening of the event The Working Woman: Her Rights and Heritage Tuesday on 16th May 16 in Paviljon Veljković, Belgrade.

The event aimed at connecting the experiences of the women’s movements in Sweden and Serbia. The Swedish institute’s exhibition Her Rights, Money, Power and Autonomy was opened, followed by a panel discussion on documenting the women’s movement, art and activism.

The panel discussion featured Anno Tosho Larsson, Director of the Stockholm Museum of Women’s History and representatives of Serbian civil society for gender equality.
