The Government of Japan has donated €33,810 under the banner of “non-repayable assistance in the field of culture” to the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, and €7,900 to the Aikido Dojo Taka club from Niš.

The Faculty of Technical Sciences will use this money to buy technical equipment and renovate the classroom where the Japanese language has been taught since 1992, while the Aikido Dojo Taka will receive 210m2 of tatami mats.

The signing ceremony for the contract on these donations was held at the Embassy of Japan in Belgrade and included the participation of H.E. Juichi Takahara, Ambassador of Japan, Rade Doroslovački Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Milan Bošković, President of Aikido Dojo Taka.
