Serbia’s inaugural solar panel manufacturing facility, operated by ‘Domi Eko Solar’, with an annual output capacity exceeding 100 megawatts, has started its operations in Velika Plana.
As reported by Balkan Green Energy News, this facility represents the first of its kind in Serbia dedicated to the production of photovoltaic panels.
‘The factory is designed to produce 100 MW per year. We aim to achieve this target by the middle of next year,’ said Drahan Rajovic, the director of ‘Domi Eko Solar’. He noted that the investment in the manufacturing equipment is around three million euros.
The equipment for the production was supplied by Ecoprogetti, an Italian manufacturer.
