British Airways will reinstate flights between London Heathrow and Belgrade this winter season after an absence of thirteen years.
The renowned British flag carrier will commence its three weekly service, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, starting 31 October.
The airline will utilize its Airbus A320 aircraft for the route, directly competing against Air Serbia’s daily rotation and indirectly against Wizz Air, which runs five weekly flights from London Luton to Belgrade during the winter season.
Notably, British Airways will be the second member carrier of the Oneworld alliance to serve Belgrade, alongside Qatar Airways.
The last time British Airways operated in Belgrade was on November 30, 2010, maintaining daily flights at that time.
