Austrian Post’s new delivery subsidiary, Express One Slovenia, began operations in Slovenia at the beginning of July. The logistics company has two centres, in Maribor and Ljubljana, and in addition to these locations, several delivery bases ensure delivery throughout Slovenia.

Austrian Post’s logistics centre in Kalsdorf, Styria, will also play a central role in the distribution of import and export parcels.

“Due to our high quality, we were motivated by international customers to offer our services on the Slovenian market as well. We already have relevant export volumes to Slovenia, and we also have a strong market position in the neighbouring countries of Austria, Croatia, and Hungary. Self-delivery in Slovenia was, therefore, the next logical step for us,” explains DI Peter Umundum, Managing Director for Parcel & Logistics, Austrian Post.
