Together we Spread the Idea of Philanthropy and Build a Society of Equal Opportunities
The Trag Foundation announces the launch of the competition for the seventeenth VIRTUS Award for Philanthropy. The award will highlight companies, enterprises, and individuals who have encouraged positive societal changes through various philanthropic initiatives during 2023. The VIRTUS award competition for 2023 is realized with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the OAK Foundation, and the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
„Good deeds have the power to inspire new acts of kindness. That is the very reason why the Trag Foundation has been striving for 17 years to acknowledge those who do good in the community and for the community through awarding the VIRTUS recognitions. Year after year, we look forward to witnessing solidarity from our fellow citizens and the business sector despite our numerous social and economic challenges. This year, the Trag Foundation is pleased to be presenting a special award that will acknowledge corporate and individual support for the empowerment of women and girls, thanks to which we hope to witness more and more examples of support for this important topic in the future”, said Marija Mitrović, Philanthropy Program Director at Trag Foundation.
VIRTUS Award for 2023 will be presented in 5 main categories: Award for corporate philanthropy, Award for small and medium-sized enterprises, Award for a long-term partnership between business and the civil sector, Award for individual philanthropy, and Award for young philanthropists.
