There are ten days left until the end of the competition for the VIRTUS Award for Philanthropy, which the Trag Foundation is awarding this year for the fifteenth time.

This year, the VIRTUS Award is presented to highlight and support those individuals, companies, and enterprises that have done good deeds, initiated and supported philanthropic initiatives during the previous year, and thus contributed to the development of the communities in which they live and operate.

If you have heard of a good deed during the previous year or want to inspire others by your own example, help us to recognize and reward such a gesture. Nominate a company, enterprise, or person from your environment for one of the categories of the VIRTUS Award: Award for corporate philanthropy, Award for small and medium-sized enterprises, Award for a long-term partnership between business and civil sector, Award for individual philanthropy, and Award for young philanthropists.

“The capacity for good exists in all of us and, if we make an effort to see it, we will find it or it will find us somewhere in our surroundings. Good people and responsible companies are all around us and we must support them, introduce them to the public and give them recognition, in order for them to inspire good deeds in the future. By presenting the VIRTUS Award on an annual basis, Trag Foundation promotes positive values in society through exceptional examples of giving for the common good, but also points out problems in the communities, whilst contributing to their systemic solution. Philanthropy makes the world we live in a better place for us all and as we leave it to future generations, it is important to set a good example to people, especially youth, who will be the carriers of philanthropic initiatives in the future”, said Marija Mitrovic, Philanthropy and Partnerships Director at Trag Foundation.
