Russia’s state space agency, Roscosmos, has announced an extension of its joint spaceflight program with NASA to the International Space Station (ISS) until 2025, as reported by the news agency Interfax.
The extension of these joint flights aims to maintain the reliability of ISS operations and will be conducted using both Russian and American spacecraft, according to Roscosmos.
The collaborative flights involve sending an American astronaut to the ISS aboard a Russian spacecraft, and similarly, a Russian cosmonaut as part of the crew on an American spacecraft, Interfax reported.
