At the General Assembly of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), the operating results for 2017 were presented, and the majority of a new managing board was elected by a vote among the member companies.
AmCham awarded the traditional annual AmCham Hero Award to young Kosta Jovanović PhD, one of the best students at the Belgrade Faculty of Electrical Engineering, where he now works.
The former AmCham MB first vice-chairwoman Jelena Pavlović, managing director of Philip Morris International, was elected to the chair.
In the new composition, the first vice-chairman will be Branislav Savić, plant manager at Ball Packaging Europe Belgrade, while Quentin Royer, managing director of Delhaize Serbia, was elected second vice-chairman.
Representatives of member companies also elected four new members of the managing board: Nicolaas Houwert, General Manager of Hilton Hotel, Vladimir Čupić, Head of the Serbian representative office of Atlantic Group, Branko Mitrović, Telenor corporate telecommunications executive director and Marko Jović, team manager for regulatory, legal and institutional affairs at VIP Mobile.
Board members Dragan Lupšić, PR and communications manager at Coca-Cola Hellenic, and treasurer Igor Lončarević, CEO of KPMG, remain in office.
