Nelt has announced its participation in the SPATRA project, a collaborative initiative with the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) to revolutionize transport monitoring and management using satellite technology.
This two-year project aims to leverage European satellite innovations to enhance road and rail transport, logistics, and the positioning of vehicles and drones, improving the efficiency and sustainability of transport across Europe.
As part of a consortium including OHB (Germany), Twist robotics (Ukraine), and Zentrix Lab (Estonia and Serbia), Nelt is developing an application to predict border crossing times and truck parking availability, facilitating smoother transport operations.
Andrej Dosković, Nelt’s international logistics service development manager, highlighted the company’s role in enriching the project with their expertise, aiming to boost transport efficiency and route optimization.
