Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Serbia H.E. Junichi Maruyama and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Interior Minister Nebojša Stefanović attended the ceremonial handover of the donation from the Government of Japan to the Sector for Emergency Situations of the MUP of Serbia.

The value of the Government of Japan‘s donation amounts to approximately 1.5 million euros.

Deputy Prime Minister thanked Ambassador and the Government of Japan for the continued support, adding that the government of Japan has so far assisted in the improvement of emergency operations worth more than EUR 8.7 million.
