Eurobank and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development announced at today’s press conference a new socially responsible project ‘School Designed for You’, aimed at improving working and studying conditions in secondary schools in Serbia.
A certain amount will be allocated from each transaction made by Eurobank customers using Eurobank Big Heart Mastercard payment card and assigned for the renovation of classrooms and special-purpose rooms, as well as the purchase of necessary equipment, without any additional charges for the cardholders.
The first step is to announce a competition for the design of Eurobank Big Heart affinity card, which is open to students of all secondary schools.
“After investing in kindergartens and primary schools for 8 years and spending 62 million dinars on their renovation, we have completed a cycle of providing assistance to this segment of children’s education, and we are now directing money towards secondary schools. We wanted to involve students in designing the Eurobank Big Heart affinity card and give them an opportunity to create its new visual identity. ‘School Designed for You’ is a new form of investment aimed at improving school conditions, which will provide much more than renovating classrooms, since it enables students to acquire their first knowledge about banking from our colleagues as guest lecturers, and learn hands-on about the career some of them will pursue”, said Slavica Pavlović, President of Eurobank Executive Board.
The competition for designing Eurobank Big Heart affinity card runs from March 26 to April 13, while the results and the winner will be announced on April 27, 2018. The main prize is a two-week English language course in the UK organized by Tourism Company KUB d.o.o., specialized in educational trips.
