Piraeus Leasing donated 50 tons of canned food to the Red Cross of Serbia, in order to help this organization fulfil the needs of its customers, whose number increases during the winter holidays.

Chairman of the Executive Board of Piraeus Leasing, Goran Marković emphasized that this donation will help the Red Cross of Serbia to ensure the normal functioning of soup kitchens and provide assistance to vulnerable members of the community.

“In recent years we have collaborated with many organizations who take care of those in need. Our corporate values are based on taking part in activities that are beneficial for the environment in which we operate and we will continue, according to our capabilities, to contribute with charitable activities,” said Mr Marković.

The donation to the Red Cross is one of many humanitarian actions that Piraeus Bank Group in Serbia and its employees are conducting in order to make holidays joyful for all children. At the end of this year, the Bank will traditionally gladden with sweet packets children in one of the institutions that take care of the children without parental care.
