Mrs. Zsuzsanna Hargitai, the director of the EBRD for the Western Balkans, has become the first honorary member of the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia OIE Srbija.

“It is an exceptional part to cooperate with Ms. Hargitai, who has made a huge contribution to the development of the green energy sector in Serbia, as well as the establishment of the Association of RES Serbia. It left us with a fantastic foundation that we need to further improve and renew. I am sure that Ms. Hargitai will have exceptional results in her new position in Asia, just like her successor, Mr. Matteo Colagneli in Serbia, with whom we will be very happy to continue our cooperation” – said Milos Colic, director of New Energy Solutions.

Thanking for the admission to the Association and the indicated honor, Ms. Hargitai pointed out that she was very satisfied with the mandate spent in Serbia in the business and social sense.

“The Association of RES Serbia, whose establishment we supported, is one of the good examples of successful cooperation. The EBRD has financed the two largest wind farms in Serbia and I believe that new projects are coming soon. Thank you all, I wish you a lot of health and happiness and successful cooperation and growth of the organization” – said Zsuzsana Hargitai.

The ceremony, which was organized by OES Serbia, in the honor of Zsuzsana Hargitai, was attended by Matteo Colangeli, who will officially take office of EBRD Director for the Western Balkans on Monday, 17 May, assistant Minister of Energy in charge of RES Sabina Ivanović, ambassador of Israel Jahel Vilan, as well as the members of the Association.
