His Royal Highness Prince Philip Karađorđević and Miss Danica Marinković have been married at Belgrade’s Saborna Cathedral Church.

The wedding service was conducted by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej. The maid of honour was H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, while the best man was H.R.H. Prince Petar Karađorđević. The wedding was also attended by Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain. Also travelling from Spain to attend the wedding was the groom’s mother, H.R.H. The bride’s wedding gown was created by world-famous fashion designer Roksanda Ilinčić.

After the wedding ceremony in the Cathedral Church, guests moved on to the White Palace for a reception and dinner. They were addressed during the evening by H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander and Prince Philip.

In addition to the Serbian royal family, the wedding was attended by numerous members of European royal families: Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg, Prince Amyn Aga Khan, Princess Jeet Nabha Khemka and Mr Nand Khemka, as well as numerous friends of the Karađorđević Royal Family and the Marinković family, including Serbian National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojković, various representatives of the diplomatic corps, prominent public figures from the spheres of culture, art and politics, members of the Crown Advisory Bodies, as well as many citizens and supporters of constitutional parliamentary monarchies.
