Serbia has made great progress in many fields, including the protection of human rights, said United States Ambassador H.E. Christopher Hill at a meeting with the Commissioner for the protection of equality, Brankica Janković.

According to the US Ambassador Hill, certain areas within the protection of human rights are regulated in Serbia in accordance with the highest democratic standards, especially when we talk about gender equality.

Commissioner Brankica Janković pointed out that in the time of great challenges and the strengthening of extremism on all sides, the issue of protecting the equality of all citizens becomes even more important, and that it is clearer than ever that there are no forever won freedoms and rights.
