After previous visits to Italian companies in Zrenjanin, Jagodina, Subotica, Novi Sad, Kula and Kragujevac, Ambassador of Italy H.E. Carlo Lo Cascio visited Šabac, where he opened the new factory of the company Selettra WB.

During the visit, Ambassador Lo Cascio with a group of representatives of Confindustria and Italian entrepreneurs met with Mayor of Šabac Nebojša Zelenović. He then visited the Italian companies “Conceria Pasubio” and “SBE”.

Ambassador Lo Cascio pointed out the strong message sent by Italy to all the cities of Serbia, confirming the desire to continue investing in this country, for joint growth. “This message of cooperation and closeness was repeated at all recent political meetings at a high level and is even more significant in the year in which we celebrate 140 years of diplomatic relations and ten years of the strategic partnership between Italy and Serbia,” said Ambassador Lo Cascio.
