Amazon is buying primary care provider One Medical for $3.49 billion, increasing the e-commerce giant’s virtual healthcare portfolio.
The deal is proving that the online retailer Amazon is on a years-long march into the U.S. healthcare.
Amazon first stepped into healthcare for its own Seattle staff in 2019 before offering the services to other employers under the Amazon Care brand.
The e-commerce giant bought online pharmacy PillPack in 2018.
