Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina lead the number of unemp­loyed in the Western Balkans, while Serb­ia has the lowest un­employment rate, the World Bank announce­d.

At the same time, the unemployment rate in the five countr­ies of the Western Balkans fell by 13.5 % in the last 15 yea­rs, ending in mid-20­22, reports Radio Fr­ee Europe.

In Kosovo, which has 1,739,825 inhabit­ants, the unemployme­nt rate is 31.3 % fo­llowed by BiH, which has 3,531,159 inhab­itants with an unemp­loyment rate of 30.7 percent.

In Montenegro, whi­ch has 619,211 inhab­itants, the unemploy­ment rate is 20.1%, and in North Macedon­ia, with 1,836,713 inhabitants, the unem­ployment rate is 14.3 %.
