Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania Belinda Balluku signed today the Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries, which envisages mutual support in investing in new capacities, especially when it comes to the construction of an LNG terminal in Albania.

The memorandum was signed in the Palace of Serbia, in the presence of the leaders of the member countries of the “Open Balkans” initiative and the Western Balkans region.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Maja Gojkovic, Minister of Culture of Albania Elva Margariti and Minister of Culture of North Macedonia Bisera Kostadinovska Stojchevska signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of film and audio-visual activities in the Western Balkans.

The Operational Plan in the field of civil protection between Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia was also signed.

This document was signed by Serbian Assistant Minister of the Interior and Head of the Department for Emergency Situations Luka Causic, Deputy Director of the Protection and Rescue Directorate of North Macedonia Zulfikar Zejnualai and General Director of the National Agency for Civil Protection of the Ministry of Defence of Albania Haki Cako.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Branislav Nedimovic, Minister of Agriculture of North Macedonia Ljupco Nikolovski and Minister of Agriculture of Albania Frida Krifka signed the Agreement on food security mechanisms in the Western Balkans.

The agreement was signed in order to prevent the lack of basic agricultural and food products on the markets of the member states of the “Open Balkans” initiative.
