MK Fintel Wind Company is this year’s recipient of the Aurea Social Utility Award that is awarded by business portal eKapija.

MK Fintel Wind last year opened the Kula wind farm, the first wind farm in Serbia, with a total installed capacity of 9.9MW. A total of €15 million was spent on its construction.

The wind farm in Kula, which has already started generating electricity, comprises three Vestas wind turbines produced in Denmark. They stand at a height of 178 metres, making them the tallest wind turbines in Southeast Europe.

Petar Kovačević, an engineer at MK Fintel Wind, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
