The Tax Administration is to form a new organisational unit to provide services to taxpayers, introducing new electronic services and considering the possibility of simplifying administrative procedures under its jurisdiction for all companies that respect the rules and pay their obligations in a timely manner, it was announced at a recent working meeting for NALED members and partners with Tax Administration Director Dragana Marković.
Those qualifying to go through faster procedures will be business leaders who find themselves on the so-called White List, the compiling of which was proposed by the National Programme for Countering the Shadow Economy.
The focus on electronic services is part of the process of implementing the Programme for the Transformation of the Tax Administration for the 2015-2020 period, aimed at improving the payment of budget revenues, reducing costs and improving the efficiency of work.
Apart from this, the transformation programme also envisages a reduction in the existing number of organisational units, as well as concentrating on controls via the strategic management of risks. It was noted that the vision is to establish a modern administration that will provide an efficient service to taxpayers.
