The Serbian oil company Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS) and the Croatian firm Adriatic Pipeline (JANAF) have reached an agreement for the transportation of 10 million tonnes of oil, with a variance of plus or minus ten percent, until 31 December 2026, as announced on the website of the Croatian pipeline.

“With great pleasure, we announce the signing of a new, record-breaking contract, which once again confirms the importance of JANAF as a key player in Croatia’s energy sector and the entire region. In 2024, JANAF continues to ensure safe supply and uninterrupted operations to all our clients. We are confident that signing such a contract is an excellent start to another exceptionally successful business year, to the satisfaction of our shareholders and all employees,” says the statement from JANAF.
