Belgrade City Hall has hosted the first in a series of workshops with international experts, under the organization of the Embassy of the State of Israel to Serbia and the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), at which local governments discovered how they can make their towns and municipalities more attractive places to live and work, as well as familiarising younger generations and entrepreneurs with their tourist offer.

This occasion saw experiences exchanged with Sharon Landes Fischer, director of the Tel Aviv tourism strategy, who presented the unique practice of positioning “smart” cities through synergizing of the city’s tourist attractions and business offers, embodied through the brands Tel Aviv Start-Up City and Tel Aviv Non- Stop City.

Workshops were organised under the auspices of the commemorating of the Independence Day of the State of Israel and the 25th anniversary of the restoring of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Israel.
