Welcoming the decision to set up the German- Serbian Chamber of Commerce in April this year, the Head of the German Bundestag’s Committee on EU Affairs, Gunther Krichbaum, said that Germany is a reliable partner to Serbia on its road to EU membership.
Giving a presentation entitled “Europe in Crisis” at the Belgrade headquarters of company Hemofarm, the German MP spoke about the work done by the Committee on EU Affairs that he heads.
The meeting’s host, Dr Roland Seeliger – Hemofarm boss and President of the German-Serbian Business Association (DSW) – welcomed those present and said that it was very important for businesses to constantly receive concrete answers from relevant institutions, both national and European.
In an open dialogue, DSW members posed questions about the EU’s future plans and Serbia’s position in the EU integration process, the utilisation of EU funds and support from Germany as Serbia’s partner.
