Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojša Stefanović, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia H.E. Arne Sannes Bjørnstad, and Head of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Serbia Graeme Tyndall signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the project “Support of the Kingdom of Norway to the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia”.

Through this project, worth €1,975,000, the Police Directorate for Crime Fighting will receive modern equipment and professional training, which will improve its work.

Its successful implementation will contribute to the establishment of a systematic mechanism for combatting illegal drugs that are in line with European standards, harmonization with the EU Acquis in the field of combatting terrorism and high-tech crime, and protection of labour rights and improving the safety and security of working environments.
