Arne Sannes Bjørnstad, and Head of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Serbia Graeme Tyndall signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the project “Support of the Kingdom of Norway to the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia”.

Through this project, worth €1,975,000, the Police Directorate for Crime Fighting will receive modern equipment and professional training, which will improve its work.

Its successful implementation will contribute to the establishment of a systematic mechanism for combatting illegal drugs that are in line with European standards, harmonization with the EU Acquis in the field of combatting terrorism and high-tech crime, and protection of labour rights and improving the safety and security of working environments.
