The newly established German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce held the very first Members Dinner with the German Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Axel Dittmann and around 150 member companies meeting at the Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade.
The EU Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Michael Davenport, who was the guest of honour, spoke about the topic “Serbia at the Threshold of the European Union – Opportunities and Challenges”, a subject that is important to business people.
The entire Managing Board of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with its Chairman Ronald Seeliger, PhD, and Director Martin Knapp at the helm, were also present while the guests had many of their questions answered at the dinner.
The gathering continued in the pleasant ambience of a cocktail party following the dinner. The event’s host CEO of Generali Insurance Serbia Dragan Filipović presented the company’s new programme Generali’s Global Corporate & Commercial Unit which provides support to German companies in Serbia.
The Unit operates on a global level, it has an integrated approach and provides insurance services to medium and large enterprises.
