Belgrade the City Hall hosted the awarding of special recognitions, diplomas and letters of thanks on the occasion of the 30th Belgrade Marathon, as well as the declaring of the Heroes of the 30th Belgrade Marathon.

Awards were given to individuals and companies who have helped make 30th edition of Belgrade Marathon positive and special experience. Among recipients is CorD Magazine, organizer of humanitarian run which has been part of the Belgrade marathon for 11 consecutive years.

This year’s jubilee 30th Belgrade Marathon had a record number of 7,000 participants in the half marathon (including 400 participants in the half marathon relay event) and Marathon from 70 countries on all continents – which is also a record that extends the record set last year, and then 20,000 participants in the Coca-Cola Fun Run. Three weeks after the jubilee 30th Belgrade Marathon, the 24th Smoki Smokić Children’s Marathon was held in the beautiful ambience of the Belgrade Zoo, with its qualification races having included over 15,000 young Belgraders.
