Judit Albers Appointed as the New CEO of A1 Serbia

The management of A1 Group has appointed Judit Albers as the new CEO of A1 Serbia, starting from June 1, 2024. Dejan Turk, who was the head of A1 Serbia for the previous 10 years, continues his career in the position of General Manager of A1 Slovenia and A1 Croatia.

Albers has over 25 years long international career in the telecomunication industry and brings a lot of management experience from several countries. She joined A1 Group in 2021 and has been leading and transforming International Business since then. Judit Albers also actively drove the digitalization and modernisation as well as the anti-fraud development in the International Business and Wholesale area.

She was Head of International Business at AzerTelecom in Azerbaijan, where she was responsible for the operator’s international business segment including voice and data worldwide.

From 1999 to 2018, Judit Albers worked for Deutsche Telekom in several locations (Bonn, Budapest and in the Balkan region), where she held numerous management positions. Most recently, she was Head of Voice Trading, CEE, ME and Asia, where she managed the traffic of Deutsche Telekom and numerous Eastern European subsidiaries, drove the Asia business and also recorded significant growth in the Middle East through active business development.

Judit will focus on further development of A1 company on Serbian market in all segments including network quality, digital transformation and the implementation of new technologies and services.
