Nelt – 30 years on the right route

The Nelt Group marks the anniversary with a focus on employees and annual turnover of EUR 1.3 billion

The anniversary year is rounded up with the consolidated turnover of EUR 1.3 billion and double-digit revenue growth in all markets. The company is focused on new partnerships, consistent implementation of the ESG standards, further development of intermodal transport and strategic development of pharmaceutical product distribution.

“The Nelt Group provides its partners with a competitive advantage by responding adequately to market and global challenges, thus creating room for constant growth and development. Through the implementation of the Accelerate 2025 strategy, we are focused on digital business transformation, development of our colleagues, business sustainability and responsibility towards the communities where we operate,” said Miloš Jelić, the Nelt Group General Manager.

Digitalisation is a strategic priority of the company’s business operations, aimed at higher efficiency, optimisation and process simplification. Investments in data processing and analytics, operation automation, new software solutions have marked the previous period and are the direction of the company’s further development.

Continuing with the transition to sustainable business operations in accordance with the ESG standards, the Nelt Group is currently producing 6.5 MW of power from sustainable sources in Serbia and North Macedonia, with a plan for additional 11 MW, including Montenegro.

„Our focus in 2024 is the implementation of a regional development strategy for the Nelt Pharmaceuticals Division, where we have an excellent starting point, namely an agreement with Kenvue for 6 markets. Furthermore, we have recently opened the second intermodal terminal in Krusevac, as a significant addition to the logistics infrastructure of the region. Our existing intermodal terminal in Belgrade is already recognised as an important logistics hub of the Western Balkans,” said Darko Lukić, the Nelt Group’s Executive Vice-president.
