The eighth Italian-Serbian Film Festival has been ceremoniously inaugurated with the premiere of the Italian-American feature “Tell It Like a Woman” at the Yugoslav Film Archive in Belgrade.

Artistic Director of the festival, Gabriela Carlucci, expressed her contentment that the event has reached its eighth edition, even though, as she mentioned, it didn’t seem likely in the beginning.

Carlucci stated that four new Italian films will offer the audience unique content and interesting themes, reflecting what is currently topical in their country’s cinematography.

She extended her gratitude to Marjan Vujović, the curator of the Yugoslav Film Archive, for hosting the festival and to the Minister of Culture, Maja Gojković, for significant support in its realization.
