Number of Chinese companies in Serbia is increasing, and economic and trade cooperation is a key area of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Serbia, said Liu Kai, economic and commercial advisor at the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.

“This partnership has developed significantly in recent years and brought tangible benefits to the two nations. We hope that economic and trade cooperation will deepen even more at all levels,” Kai said during the meeting of the Chamber of Chinese Companies in Serbia with the Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović.

General Director of CRBC in Belgrade Yang Dong pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Companies includes 47 large Chinese companies operating in Serbia.

“These companies have a significant impact on the economic development of Serbia, and the share of Chinese companies in the trade exchange of Serbia is about 20 %, said Dong and reminded that of the 10 largest exporters in Serbia, Chinese companies are in the first three places, and expressed the expectation that cooperation in the next year will be even better:

“The coming year will be extremely important for the development of economic relations between the two countries, bearing in mind the fact that a free trade agreement will be signed between Serbia and China, which will bring more successful cooperation and better business operations of Chinese companies in Serbia.”
