The Czech Republic took over the presidency of the European Union on 1 July, and the country’s ambassador to Serbia, H.E Thomas Kuchta, hosted a reception at the Embassy premises.

In his speech, Ambassador spoke about his hopes that during the Czech presidency, Serbia will manage to open at least one cluster.

The number one priority now is the crisis in Ukraine, so there is a large number of refugees, it is necessary to deal with the economic recovery of Ukraine, then there is energy security, defence, cyber security, democratic institutions, the economic recovery of the whole of Europe and other countries in the region.
