The Republic of Serbia sent 35 tonnes of food as a gift to the South African state of Lesotho, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Twitter.
Lesotho was delivered 10,000 kg of flour, ten tonnes of oil and 5,000 kg of pasta, sugar and salt.
“Serbia stands with the people of Lesotho”, said the ministry.
This donation was delivered on the basis of a Serbian government decision on non-refundable delivery of food products to six African countries.
