The newly appointed ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Belgrade, Fedor Rosocha, handed over a check in the amount of 10,000 euros to the Deputy Director of the University Children’s Clinic of Tiršova, Goran Vukomanović.
The funds are a donation from the official Slovak development aid agency Slovak Aid, which operates within the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and is intended for the fight against coronavirus to institutions in the Republic of Serbia.
As the ambassador Fedor Rosocha pointed out, Slovakia and Serbia are continuing the cooperation that has been very intensified in the past few years.
“I want to emphasize that with this well-intentioned gesture, we want to emphasize that even in the most difficult times, you can count on the help of friends, and Slovakia has confirmed many times that it is a sincere and well-meaning partner and friend of Serbia,” said Ambassador Rosocha.
Goran Vukomanović thanked the ambassador for the support.
