The Serbian Ministry for European Integration, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of France, organised a two-day seminar entitled “Competition” (Konkurencija), with the aim of presenting France’s experience in launching test procedures in the field of competition.
Lecturers Milena Sabeva and Guillaume Pere, from the Competition Agency of the Republic of France, transferred additional knowledge and experience to civil servants, members of the Negotiating Group 8 – Competition, while participants simultaneously discussed Serbia’s EU membership negotiations, on topics such as authorisation in test procedures, sector-based analyses, requests for provisional measures and a leniency programme, conducting test procedures in antimonopoly cases, making decisions on suspending investigations and terminating procedures or monetary fines.
