His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, UAE, attended the opening ceremony of the 6th annual Pink Caravan, that sees the participation of more than 100 male and female riders of various nationalities.
The official ceremony was also attended by prominent local, regional and international figures, and a number of governmental bodies representatives and directors, Pink Caravan ambassadors and media personnel.
The Pink Caravan Ride is under the patronage and support of Her Highness Shaikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, The “Soldiers of Pink Hope” ride kicked off on March 7 from Sharjah, and wrapped up on March 17 in Abu Dhabi, travelled across all seven emirates, raising awareness about breast cancer and offering free breast cancer screenings across the UAE.
