Focused on the Future

With the long history of successful IT delivery in the region, Eviden Serbia OneCloud sector is expanding its portfolio to prepare for the emerging technologies.

Our goal is to become recognized leader in Cloud service delivery, and we are proactively developing resources and solutions that will bring cutting-edge technologies to this region, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, that are expected to become mainstream in the near future.

In the middle of 2023, following the division of French IT giant Atos, Eviden continues to operate on the Serbian market? What new elements have been brought by this split?

One of the largest carve-out processes in the IT industry resulted in the emergence of a new company called Eviden, which is the brand name we operate under on the Serbian market today. With the new name, our focus has also changed.

An important sector of Atos Serbia, Tech Foundations, recognized for providing traditional services in the field of IT infrastructure, has undergone a transformation and is now able to offer a wider digital portfolio of services under the name Eviden OneCloud.

In which ways does the One-Cloud sector respond to IT trends that are changing at an accelerated rate?

Modern IT trends are driven by the need to deliver value to customers faster, more efficiently and more securely. One of the key factors to achieve this is of course Cloud Computing – a contemporary IT approach of enabling customers access to scalable, flexible and cost-effective resources on demand. Cloud computing also enables automation, basically a set of software tools and processes to perform tasks that would otherwise require intensive human interaction. Automation improves quality, reliability and productivity, and on the other hand it reduces errors and risks. By using Cloud solutions and automation, customers can transform their traditional service development and delivery models, to agile and DevOps practices. This is precisely the mission and long-term strategy of the Eviden OneCloud sector. By transforming our own business, we are helping our clients to transform theirs. Our strength in this comes from our people, but also from plethora of local and global industry recognized partners, especially considering that the OneCloud set of services includes public, private and hybrid models on AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware and Oracle ecosystems. We work hard on our ability to provide clients with constant optimization, rapid innovation and steady growth.

What are your plans for the period ahead?

Eviden OneCloud is looking to the future. We are ready to adopt technologies that will be new to this region in the coming years, by developing our existing resources and solutions. We are also exploring the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), which can enhance the user experience, streamline operations and provide deeper insights into business data, thus transforming the operational processes of every company. We have already made significant progress in these areas, and we are proud of that. Beside emerging technologies, standard IT services remain integral part of our portfolio, with constant improvement by following global trends and the needs of our clients and markets. As IT industry is becoming more challenging and dynamic every year, especially in this region, OneCloud motivated and prepared to meet the expectations and challenges of the market and our clients.
